
Preparing for the Start of something NEW!
In any workout program, planning ahead is CRITICAL. Here are some things you can do before ANY PROGRAM begins to ensure that you get the RESULTS you want! SUPPORT is KEY above all else. Check with your COACH to join a CHALLENGE GROUP! Don’t have a coach?! Today is your LUCKY DAY, you have FOUND ONE! Message me and you will be SET!
MEAL PLANNING Checklist
- Read your Eating Plan cover to cover. This will explain how to figure your calorie or container counts. Each program is different. Make sure to be on the RIGHT plan.
- Think of things you can cook ahead of time. (examples: hard boil eggs, batch cook chicken, chop up veggies and salads, grill or roast veggies to reheat with meals, cook whole wheat pasta or rice.)
- Create your menu plan or use one prepared for you. We have tons of meal plans and prep lists for you available here!
- Create your shopping list
- Put your meals TOGETHER! There are so many choices when it comes to meal prep containers... below are some of my favorites. You can find those and many more on Amazon.
- Use Wide Mouth Mason Jars to see exactly what you have and to keep food fresh!
- Do not forget to pack the SNACKS <3 Small baggies work great for these!
- On a budget? Me TOO! Shop the ads, buy produce in season, buy meat in bulk on sale and freeze in portions. I love Sprouts grocery store for Bulk Foods like Oatmeal, Rice, Nuts, even SPICES! You can save a BUNDLE!
TRACKING RESULTS
- Before and After Measurements: These are CRITICAL to track success and most often tell MUCH more than the number on the SCALE.
- Take your before/after photos (Did you know you’re eligible for a FREE t-shirt when you submit your before and after photos? And possible cash?!?! Details HERE)
ORGANIZE!
- Print out Tally Sheets or write it down on a notepad, either way you must track! .
- There are many apps to track as well. If you are using a program with containers you can use the 21 Day Fix App in the App Store. Regardless of the program you are using, it works! You can adjust the container count as needed!
- Schedule your MEAL PREP and WORKOUTS into your daily calendar. Treat both of these things like DR appointments or WORK! NON NEGOTIABLE!
- Track your water intake as well. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Aim for 1/2 your body weight in ounces.
- Also, do not be afraid to ask questions... there really is no such thing as a stupid question!
